MILE HIGH ARCHERY SHOOT, COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

MARMOT LIFT COURSES:
VORTEX COURSE
Average target distance 37 yards, 1.9 miles, 97’ elevation gain 750’ elevation loss.
Vortex has a 101-yard buffalo that can be shot from shorter distances.
There are a lot of kids-friendly targets (dinosaurs, trash pandas, frogs, etc…).
This course has 21 animals with Redding dots for scoring if you like.

SPIDER ARCHERY COURSE
Average target distance 37 yards, 1.9 miles, 289’ elevation gain, 942’ elevation loss.
Spider has some smaller targets but also has some very challenging animals to shoot.
The trail goes down along the creek for a while and is much cooler on a hot day.
This is a hunter’s course where the animals do not have orange dots.

DOUGLAS LIFT COURSES:
SOLANO’S COURSE
Average target distance 43 yards, 2.1 miles, 176’ elevation gain, 1265’ elevation loss.
OG course with lots of angle shots, long shots and home to the famous Rock Cliff Shot.
Solano’s course has broken it’s share of arrows, so make sure your quiver is full.
This course has 21 animals with Redding dots for scoring if you like.

EXTREME COURSE
Average target distance 55 yards, 2.6 miles, 669’ elevation gain, 1691’ elevation loss.
Added in 2025 the name of this course says it all. It has extreme hiking as well as extremely difficult shots.
This is a hunter’s course where the animals do not have orange dots.

Shoot your scheduled morning course and continue shooting any course you like afterwards. The chair lifts stop running at 3:00pm.

The Beer Cat will be available for drinks and snacks at the base of Douglas for the Extreme and Solano’s Courses.
